Artefact and Sketchbook for Never Forget, Always Remember - Proof of concept for R.A.F. Station Harrowbeer.
Once I had developed an idea for my final film, I decided to create a short experimental film which would consist of the cinematic techniques and editing styles that I have previously proposed for my graduation film. I would use this opportunity as a springboard for my historical documentary, as well as a mood reel that I can show any potential crew members the intentions that I have for my piece. From this short experimental piece I decided to create a sketchbook film to discuss both a mixture of cinematic techniques and editing styles that I put to use within my film. The sketchbook would also touch upon the filmmakers who inspired my work, the equipment used and finally the challenges that I faced.
